Brittlea, Sarah, and Renee created the Women in MORS community in 2019 with the intent of recognizing the contributions and challenges facing women in the OR field today. The group met at the 87th MORS Symposium with an expanded group of women to discuss the issues we are facing, a way forward, including taking a closer look at our demographics, promoting diversity, and providing coaching and networking opportunities.

Ms. Renee G. Carlucci is Principal Operations Research Analyst for CANA Advisors. Renee was previously a Senior Operations Research Analyst and Chief of the Resource Analysis Division for the United States Army’s Center for Army Analysis.
Renee has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Towson University and a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Operations Research from Johns Hopkins University. She is a graduate of the Federal Executive Institute and the Army Management Staff College and has over thirty years of experience in military operational studies.
Ms. Sarah Stewart is an Operations Research and Systems Analyst at the Center for Army Analysis. She completed two six month deployments to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as well as a two year rotation to the Headquarters Department of the Army G-3/5/7 Force Management where she conducted Total Army Analysis. She is currently serving in the Campaign Analysis Division of CAA conducting future Scenario and Operation Plan Wargame modeling. She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Master’s of Science in Operations Research from George Mason University.
Ms. Brittlea Brown is currently an Operations Research Analyst for Marine Corps Programs and Resources Program Analysis & Evaluation Division. She performed a wide-range of studies for the Marine Corps while at Northrop Grumman, developed architecture in support of Marine Corps Systems Command while at SPAWAR, and then performed modeling and simulation on capabilities at the Marine Corps Operations Analysis Directorate. Brittlea co-leads the newly formed Women in MORS Community of Practice. She has served as MORS Working Group 28 Co-Chair and Advisor. Brittlea completed the Defense Civilian Emerging Leader Program (DCELP) in 2018. She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry from Virginia Tech and a Master’s of Science in Operations Research from George Mason University.
