Certificate in Emerging Techniques in Analytics and Data Science
3 Day Course

Event Menu

Overview

This course will provide a broad overview of many of the emerging techniques in analytics and the data sciences, including demonstrations and hands-on code to see these algorithms run on actual data. Due to time constraints and the breadth of the course, detailed coding and individual development of models will be left to follow on future potential courses in Python and R programming languages respectively. The target audience includes mid-level journeymen analysts looking to gain breadth of knowledge of analytic techniques and junior analysts seeking to understand what is out there to learn. This course will enable its participants to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the various techniques and cut through the marketing hype to show how implementation can actually help national security organizations.
