Cost Analysis

Overview

The Cost Analysis Community of Practice (CoP) has been established to meet the following objectives:

1. Provide a forum for communication and collaboration on cost analysis-related topics within the MORS community, which is open to:
   1. Professional cost analysts
   2. Analysts developing cost estimates, conducting portfolio analyses, etc.
   3. Leadership / “Users” of cost analyses
2. Meet regularly throughout the year either in-person or via Defense Collaboration Services (DCS)/Adobe Connect to:
   1. Share cost analysis-related ideas
   2. Discuss the latest cost analysis policy, guidance, and processes
   3. Discuss cost analysis-related issues related to establishing and maintaining an effective operations research analysis capability throughout the MORS Community
   4. Document thoughts, actions, recommendations, and lessons learned
3. Maintain an interface with cost-related operations research analysis activities throughout the MORS Community to facilitate quick response collaboration (e.g., peer reviews, a directory of key cost analysts, etc.).
