Overview

The 89th MORS Symposium will be held from 21-25 in June 2021. The focus for this Symposium will be, "Analytics to Enhance Decision Making." The MORS Symposium is the signature event attended annually by over 1,000 Operation Research Professionals. 

DoD Participant Notice

This memo authorizes DoD members to attend and participate in the 2021 Military Operations Research Symposium to be held virtually from 21-25 June 2021.

Please note, that this approval comes with the requirement for each service to monitor attendance to control costs.

The MORS Staff has worked with the appropriate agencies to ensure that by tak ing this action we will satisfy DoD conference reporting requirements.

Dr. Julie Swann

Dr. Swann will address analytics to enhance decision making, especially at the intersection of operations research and governmental policy. She will draw upon her work in mitigation and response to pandemics, disasters, and other societal challenges while outlining new opportunities for analytics, OR, and policy.

18 June All US citizens with clearances must submit a visit request to MORS via DISS. If your clearance is not maintained in DISS, have your Security Office fax or send your clearance verification encrypted.

Registration

The 89th MORS Symposium will be held virtually.

Register Now, Pay Later:

Take advantage of the option to register now and pay later with the “invoice me” option at checkout. The "Invoice Me" option can only be used for the registration fee. This option will display in the credit card dropdown menu on the checkout page. It won't appear if you have social tickets, CEU courses or tutorials in your cart. 89th Refund Policy:

The deadline to receive a full registration refund is 14 May. Beginning 15 May, no refunds will be given. Contact Ms. Tina Yan, tina.yan@mors.org, with any questions.
