Attendance at all MORS meetings, (symposia, workshops and colloquia) is limited to those who are issued a formal invitation. Prior to each symposium, announcements are sent to all persons on the mailing list and application forms are sent to those persons requesting them. MORS is almost totally dependent upon volunteer support in the development of the meeting program. The selection of the program chair, site and theme are approved by the Board of Directors. Thereafter, the program chair has wide latitude in the selection of assistants and the content of the program. Mini-symposium, workshop and colloquium chairs and terms of reference are approved by the MORS Executive Council. Invitations to workshops and colloquia are sent to those with relevant qualifications.
