What: 70th MORSS Sponsor's Job Fair for Civilian Operations Research
Analysts

When: Tuesday from 1530 to 1700
            Wednesday from 1230 to 1430
            Thursday from 0830 to 1030

Where: Bell Hall, Trophy Lounge

How & Who: Learn about Civilian Operations Research Analyst opportunities
and upcoming vacancies in DOD analysis organizations. If you are interested
in Federal employment, come look at what's out there, see what may be
opening in the future and chart the Next Frontier in your career. Sponsors
with immediate and planned job vacancies will provide a representative to
discuss these opportunities with you. Sign up sheets will be available in
the Trophy Lounge for private sessions to discuss specific vacancies. For
those sessions, bring your resume to leave with the Sponsor's
Representative.

 

 

Room on the 70th MORSS Guest Tour Still Available!

 

There is still time to sign up for the 70th Guest Tour, scheduled for 18-19 June.  This fabulous tour will include Continental Breakfast at the AmeriSuites Hotel each morning.  On the 18th, you will visit sites in Independence Missouri, including the Vail Mansion, The Truman Library and Museum, and the Truman Home with a lovely lunch at Ophelia’s .

 

Wednesday will include a day in Kansas City, with a tour of the Kansas City Jazz Museum, with a visit to the remodeled Union Station with shops, a show and lunch at Pierponts.  This is followed by shopping on the Plaza, a lovely part of Kansas City, with many upscale shops.

 

The cost for this wonderful tour is only $160 per person and includes continental breakfasts, lunches, transportation and all tour fees.  Please send your check along with the 70th MORSS Guest Tour Registration Form on page 29 of the Registration Packet.  If you do not have the form, call us at 703-933-9070 and we will FAX it to you.

70th MORS Symposium Golf Outing

 

Fort Leavenworth Trails West Golf Course
Friday, 21 June 2002
Tee Times starting at 0800

 

·        Fees. Members of Trails West Golf Course: $25.  Active Duty Military & DoD Civilians: $45. Non-DoD Personnel: $50.  Golf registration fee must be paid by 19 June in order to schedule you for the golf outing.  Fee includes greens fee, half golf cart rental, refreshments and prizes.

·        Only soft spike golf shoes allowed.  Course rules require golfers to wear a collared shirt.

·        Check in NLT 30 minutes before tee time.  All golfers will be at assigned tee times by 1400 20 June.

·        Golfing groups will be available at 1400 20 June (or as soon as all available tee time slots are filled).  Additional information will be provided as necessary.  Please provide email, telephone and mailing address on attached registration form.

·        Players breakfast buffet of coffee, juice, donuts and bagels will be served at the clubhouse starting at 0730. 

·        Rules and prize list will be provided at registration the day of the golf outing.  Prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of the event.
