The key event of the MORS calendar is the annual MORS Symposium. The Symposium is recognized as the premier analytic event in the National Security community to exchange information and receive important peer feedback. With over 1,000 participants, 40 working groups, and 400 presentations over four days, the annual MORS Symposium is held at impressive, historic venues, including the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY, The U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, MD and The U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, CO. In addition MORS holds smaller focused workshops, publishes abstracts, monographs, books, reports, a quarterly magazine (PHALANX) and a peer reviewed journal (Military Operations Research).
MORS members include a cross section of the best defense analysts, operators, and managers from government, industry, and academia. Their involvement fosters professional technical interchange within the military operations research community, the sharing of insights and information on challenging National Security issues and support to defense decision makers.
